Brooks Center for Rehabilitation Studies
The Brooks Center enables our patients to benefit from the most up-to-date and advanced practices in the field. In collaboration with the University of Florida, we are developing innovative and advanced technologies that will ultimately help our patients maximize function and achieve their highest level of independence. Patients currently benefiting from the Center’s clinical studies and trials include individuals with stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic pain, arthritis and various musculoskeletal conditions. Scientists at the Brooks Center are also currently leading the largest National Institute of Health-funded stroke study on stroke rehabilitation in the country.
Brooks Home Care Advantage offers clients in teh First Coast Area a wide variety of in-home clinical and non-clinical services with a staff of highly specialized professionals. The Brooks Home Care Advantage goal is to offer clients access to the best health care and related support services available, without leaving the comfort of home. Services offered include physical therapy, speech therapy pain management and more. Specialty programs include an advanced cardiac disease management program, a transitional care coordination program and a memory impairment program.
St. Luke's Hospital Total Joint Rehabilitation
Two of Jacksonville's leading healthcare providers -- St. Vincent's HealthCare and Brooks Rehabilitation have come together to offer this unique skilled nursing unit located within St. Luke's Hospital. The innovative sub-acute rehabilitation program, the first of its kind in Jacksonville, is designed serve the needs of the community and is available for for patients at all area hospitals. Our program is located in a newly renovated wing in St. Luke's Hospital with a vibrant, active environment featuring private patient rooms and a pleasant, private dining room to make sure you are comfortable during your stay. Our ultimate goal is for every patient to return home safely and to recover
