Team Brooks is the Brooks Wheelchair Basketball Team. They practice year round on a weekly basis and compete against other teams in the state.
In addition to their regular season games, Team Brooks played an exhibition scrimmage during half-time at a Jacksonville Jams semi-professional basketball game. The demonstration was a significant move toward increasing disability awareness and respect for the athleticism involved in wheelchair sports.
