The Brooks Adaptive Sports and Recreation Program, in collaboration with The First Coast Tennis Foundation, is bringing tennis to individuals with a physical disabilty in Northeast Florida. Anybody with a mobility impairment may participate either in a wheelchair or standing up. If you use a wheelchair, you will follow the same rules as able-bodied tennis with the exception that the wheelchair tennis player is allowed two ball bounces. A wheelchair tennis player must have a significant loss of function in one or both lower extremities.
