What is a Sponsored Athlete?

Brooks Adaptive Sports and Recreation provides sponsorship to any member of a Brooks sponsored team or is assigned a piece of Brooks athletic equipment.  Sponsorship is considered a privilege for the athletes and in return the athletes are expected to abide by the Brooks sponsored athlete guidelines.  These guidelines are available to view at the bottom of the page in the Sponsored Athlete Agreement.

How to become a Sponsored Athlete?

To become a sponsored athlete for Brooks Adaptive Sports and Recreation the athlete must be on a Brooks sponsored team or be assigned Brooks sports equipment. These athletes are required to have signed the Sponsored Athlete Agreement and to have reviewed the Travel Guidelines. Both of the mentioned documents can be found at the bottom of the page.

Each athlete must attend practice on a regular basis or notify the coach if they are not able to attend.  They are expected to behave in a respectful manner.  They may be required to appear in a public relations, fundraising, or social media manner for Brooks Adaptive Sports and Recreation.
