Karen Wright-Bennett, RN, joins the Brooks Executive Team as Senior Vice President of Brooks Home Care Advantage. She is the founder and visionary behind (Brooks) Home Care Advantage. Karen is a registered nurse who worked in the Jacksonville community as a home health nurse and inpatient cardiac nurse for 20 years. Her clinical experience, community relations and passion for home care are what brought her to the starting point of Home Care Advantage.
In 1997, Home Care Advantage was introduced to the Jacksonville community as a home care agency under Karen's leadership, with a mission to enable seniors to overcome life's challenges in their home environment. Karen developed several clinical pathways and unique programs such as Congestive Heart Failure and Transitional Care Coordination that has enabled seniors to improve their quality of life and independence. Over the last 11 years, Karen's leadership and direction have paved the road for the current partnership with Brooks. Karen has extensive background in the home care industry and well respected in the community as a true patient advocate.
