Bruce Johnson has over 20 years experience with Regency Centers, the leading national owner, operator and developer of grocery-anchored retail centers, currently holding the position of managing director and chief financial officer. 

During his tenure at Regency Centers, Johnson has been responsible for Regency's commercial development as well as acquisitions, project financing and other capital market transactions for Regency Centers, which holds assets exceeding $3 billion. 

Prior to joining Regency, he served as vice president of Barnett Winston Trust where he was responsible for asset management and disposition of a diversified real estate portfolio. In that capacity, he was general manager of Amelia Island Plantation, one of north Florida's premier destination island resorts.

In addition to serving on the Brooks Board of Directors, Johnson serves as a board member and Audit Committee Chairman of Columbia Equity Trust, a public REIT which operates, acquires and develops commercial office properties primarily in the Greater Washington, D.C. area.

Johnson earned a masters of science degree in real estate from the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Business.
