S. Mark Hand is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Valuation Analyst and the owner of S. Mark Hand & Associates. He provides business and tax advisory services to closely held businesses and high wealth individuals. Hand also provides business valuation services and merger and acquisition services to business owners. Prior to forming his firm, he was a partner with KPMG, the international accounting firm. Hand has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Taxation from Georgia State University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, the Florida Institute of CPA’s and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

In addition to his work with Brooks, Hand is the past chairman of the Salvation Army Advisory Board of Northeast Florida and past chairman of the Arlington Family YMCA Advisory Board. He is also active in Highlands Presbyterian Church where he serves as Treasurer and is a church elder.
