David H. Busse received his MBA at J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, located in Evanston, Illinois, and earned his BA from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Following his education, Busse was a partner at KPMG Peat Marwick, Chicago, Jacksonville, Charlotte from 1963 - 1991, a partner from 1991-1993 at the Business Advisor and Consultant Albert Ernest Enterprises and President for the Institution for World Capitalism from 1993 - 1995.  Busse is presently the Executive Director for Christian Healing Ministries, Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Brooks, Busse is currently a Trustee for Seabury Western Theological Seminary and a Member of Vestry at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral.
