Geriatric Residency

The Brooks/UNF Geriatric Residency Program is the first multidisciplinary geriatric residency in the nation. It is scheduled to begin concurrently with the Orthopaedic and Neurologic Residency Programs on July 1, 2010. The inaugural class includes 5 professionals with backgrounds in nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology. The Geriatric Residency Program will pursue APTA credentialing within the year.

 

In addition to collaborating with the faculty of the Orthopedic and Neurologic Residency Programs, the University of Florida and local health care experts, the Geriatric Residency Program is proud to have the following individuals contributing to the success of the Geriatric Residency Program:

Jodi Morgan, MA, CCC-SLP – Speech Language Pathology Content Expert and SLP Mentor

Joanne Hoertz, RN – Nursing Content Expert and RN Mentor
