Dr. Salvatori is a graduate (2010) of the DPT program at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She came from Brazil in 2003 under a volleyball scholarship and started undergraduate studies in Arizona, finishing in Virginia with a BS in Clinical Exercise Sciences. Dr. Salvatori, working with Dr. Michener from VCU, published a manuscript on the topic of shoulder impingement. Dr. Salvatori is also an advocate of volunteer work and has been to several locations, including Africa, to help those in need. Dr. Salvatori is also active in the APTA as the Virginia Core Ambassador for the Student Assembly as well as Orthopaedic Section Membership Committee member and mentor.
She believes “our profession deserves excellence and I intend to deliver no less than that!”
