Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital is the only one of its kind in the region. Our 143-bed, not-for-profit hospital offers round the clock coverage by a nursing team, intensive rehabilitative therapies and regular rounds by physiatrists, or their designated assistants. We also offer support for patients and their caregivers to help patients return to their maximum level of independence.
We are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Brooks is one of Florida's only state-designated treatment facilities for brain and spinal cord injuries for children and adults. We are also one of only two inpatient rehabilitation centers in Florida that treats infants and young children.
Our programmatic approach to care is organized around five Centers of Excellence. The intensive specialization of our caregivers in each of these areas means that they are able to give our patients access to the latest treatments with the best outcomes.
