Gary Jarvis, Ph.D., BCIAC Senior Fellow

Clinical Neurophysiologist and Biofeedback Practitioner for the Brain Injury Day Treatment Program, and Psychological Services

Gary earned his bachelor of arts with a specialization in psychology in 1984 and his master of science in health in 1985 from the University of North Florida (UNF). He joined Brooks in 1985.  He is board certified by the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America, the American Board of Quantitative Electroencephalography (Diplomate) and the American Academy of Pain Management (Diplomate). He is also a board certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRRC).  Gary received his Ph.D. in neurophysiology from Columbia Pacific University. He has served as a member of the UNF Institutional Review Board (IRB), which is charged with ensuring the protection of human subjects in research. Gary's contributions to the IRB have included attending monthly meetings and reviewing proposals in his spare time. He not only serves on the UNF IRB, he is also an active Shriner member and has been featured in the Florida Times-Union as Santa Claus, delivering gifts to children from his motorcycle. He received the College of Health UNF Alumni of the Year award in 2004 for actively giving back to UNF and for his community service.
