Stephen specializes and provides biofeedback therapy for chronic pain syndromes, headaches and other stress related disorders. He received his Bachelor and Master’s degree in Allied Health Science at the University of North Florida. He completed the Biofeedback Special Studies Program at the University of North Florida that prepared him for national certification by the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America and he is a Senior Fellow.
He is a member of the national organization the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback and the American Pain Society. He has pioneered biofeedback as a clinical application since 1978-79 and is a founding member of three predecessors Stress Management and Health Services, Inc., Fullife, Inc., and the Southeastern Pain Clinic. He has developed programs and instructed healthcare professionals in the foundations, advanced knowledge and skills in the utilization of biofeedback techniques.
He was also an instructor of Stress Management for the Florida Jr. College at Jacksonville. He is a Vietnam Era veteran of the United States Air Force, specializing in automatic flight control systems and was nominated to President Reagan for special recognition.
