Joshua Schuette has been specializing in the field of chronic pain since 2005 when he graduated from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Prior to working at Brooks Rehabilitation, Joshua was the Director of Physical Therapy at the National Pain Institute in Winter Park, Florida. Before working in the field of physical therapy, Dr. Schuette educated and worked with children and adults with disabilities as an adapted physical education teacher. He also has prior experience in working in interdisciplinary settings as a physical education instructor for the Multidisciplinary Diagnostic and Training Program, an education program conjointly run by the Colleges of Medicine and Education at The University of Florida.
Dr. Schuette’s educational background also includes a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences from the University of Florida. He is currently working on a Master of Business Administration degree at the University of North Florida. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
