History of the Pain Program

The Comprehensive Pain Rehabilitation Program has been in operation for over 20 years. The program started as a combined effort of Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville and then-named Memorial Regional Rehabilitation Center. As organizational structure changed, the Pain Program became exclusively under the Rehabilitation Center. As a consequence of company name changes the program has become known as the Brooks Comprehensive Pain Rehabilitation Program. Brooks has consistently been recognized and accredited for the inpatient and outpatient pain rehabilitation programs by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The pain program is the sole provider of care for two Fortune 500 large property and casualty insurers.
