Pain Program Evaluation Process
Evaluation process
In order to start a comprehensive program, it takes a comprehensive examination. This includes a Medical, Physical Therapy and Psychology examination. Each examination will include an interview and each evaluator will talk with you about your concerns and your goals. Time will be spent with you in discussing your medical history, observing how you perform a task like getting up from a chair, reaching or bending, and gathering data on your mobility, strength, and muscle tension. The examination will also explore your personality, emotions, life stressors, and how pain impacts you and your family. At the conclusion of the examination each evaluator will summarize key findings that may relate to your condition.
