On January 31st, Brooks will be hosting a fun event devoted to children and families with special needs. The vision of Celebrate Children is to increase awareness of resources for pediatric recreation, wellness, injury prevention, and support services.

The event will feature:

  • Educational Sessions
  • Helmet giveaway to all children
  • Appearances by Jaxon DeVille and the Roar
  • Medical Equipment Drive

Celebrate Children is free to all attendees and will consist of educational panel discussions and a comprehensive resource fair. In addition a KidsKorner will be available throughout the event for youth activities for children of all ages and abilities.

Educational Sessions:

2:00-2:45pm
Sharing Strategies for Successful Behavior Management
An overview of the concepts and strategies to
identify and prevent potential behavior challenges
before they escalate. We’ll share tips to help you
manage and engage difficult individuals in your care.

3:15-4:00pm
Fun with Food: It’s a Family Affair
An interactive and multi-sensory experience for
children and families involving healthy foods &
snacks.
