The Brooks Group Weight Management Program is a 12-week healthy lifestyle program designed to assist you in making healthy lifestyle choices. In the comfort of a group setting, we will help you change unhealthy behaviors and manage the decisions you make about physical activity and nutrition.
The program facilitates a healthy lifestyle change through education, nutritional guidelines and exercise. This medically-sound program includes health assessments at the beginning and end of the program, combined with weekly group sessions led by a health educator held onsite.
Group exercise classes at Brooks also help create a safe and effective way to help you get healthier. You will have a choice of more than 90 group and aquatic exercise classes.
The program has four main components:
EVALUATION
• Pre- and post-program health assessments
• Provide results to individual and/or personal provider
EDUCATION
• Weekly health information
• Healthy lifestyle sessions for 12 weeks
EXERCISE
• Open choice of group exercise and aquatic classes for 12 weeks at Brooks Health & Fitness
EXTRAORDINARY SUPPORT
• Health educator/coach throughout program
• Personal goals development and action plan
