Making a difference where it matters most—in our community

At Brooks, we are passionate about empowering people to reach their highest possible level of independence at work, at play, and in their everyday lives. In 1995, the Brooks Community Health Advisory Board, then known as the Brooks Health Foundation, was formed to help further improve the quality of life for individuals living with disabilities throughout the local community.

Among its several functions, the Community Health Advisory Board  funds non-profits who share our commitment to improving healthcare in the region we serve. Brooks is committed to assuring access to rehabilitation care for those who need it even when insurance coverage is insufficient. The Board is integral in fulfilling our commitment to education, outreach and prevention.
