Orthopaedic Residency

The Brooks/UNF Orthopaedic Residency program began with the first group of 6 residents in January 2007 and was the first orthopaedic physical therapy residency program credentialed by the APTA within the state of Florida.

This program collaborates with several external partners including the University of Florida and local health care experts. Raine Osborne, PT, MSPT, OCS is the coordinator of the orthopaedic residency and Bob Rowe, PT, DPT, DMT, MHS, FAAOMPT is the Director of Residency and Fellowship Programs at Brooks. Dr. Rowe and co-developer Rusty Smith, PT, EdD, OCS, FAAOMPT, have developed a program that prepares individuals for board certification and beyond. The core and clinical faculty is comprised of an extremely strong group of nationally recognized experts in the field of orthopaedic/musculoskeletal practice.
