It is a challenge for all physical therapists to devote themselves to their patients, clinical and educational development, and the application of scientific evidence to clinical practice. The Brooks/UNF Neurologic Residency is a vehicle to enable therapists to endeavor in all of these areas. Moreover, it is a vehicle that promotes clinical excellence as well as dissemination of the latest scientific evidence to patients! For these reasons, I am honored and excited to be a part of the clinical mentoring team! My goal is to apply my experience as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist, educator, and researcher to mentor and assist Residents in advancing their knowledge and skills and translating this to their clinical practice. Learning HOW to learn and make changes in the clinic is a large part of the process and it is unique to each individual in the Residency program.

Outside of my professional roles, I love being outdoors and being active with my two young sons and husband. We enjoy participating in local running events, camping, college sports events, and travel. Family, fitness, and fun…together!
