Neurologic Residency
The Brooks/UNF Neurologic Residency program initiated the first class with 3 residents that completed their training in December of 2008. The Brooks/UNF Neurologic Residency Program received the prestigious recognition of APTA Credentialing in March 2009.
This program will have a strong collaboration with several external partners including the University of Florida and the University of St. Augustine. Pam Spigel, PT, MHA, NCS is the Coordinator for the Neurologic Residency program. The faculty are comprised of a mix of strong clinicians and academic leaders from around the country.
Pam hosted a curriculum development meeting for the neurologic residency prior to implementation of the curriculum development consisting of physical therapy expert clinicians in the area of neurologic physical therapy from the University of Florida, the University of North Florida, the University of St. Augustine, and the University of Southern California/Ranchos Los Amigos Neurologic Residency program.
