R.N. Clincal Nursing Ladder
The R.N. Clinical Ladder is a grading structure that facilitates career progression by defining levels of clinical and professional practice.
Progression up the ladder is dependent upon the individual meeting defined clinical excellences, skills and competencies, professional expertise and education attainment. This places greater emphasis on continuing professional development of the individual, not the position they occupy.
Benefits Include:
Personal "ownership" in development
Intra-organization career recognition and development
Increased pay grade-- $1.25 from RN I to RN II and $1.50 from RN II to RN III
Professional recognition in the internal community
